Wiley Miller of the Artesia 4-H Club “cleaned barn” Monday at the Eastern New Mexico State Fair rabbit show. Miller won Grand Meat Pen, Grand Baker Rabbit, Reserve Grand Baker Rabbit, Grand Commercial Rabbit, Grand Fancy Rabbit, and Best in Barn. Miller is a sophomore at Artesia High School and has competed at the ENMSF since the age of 8. “I love showing rabbits,” he said, “and this was a really tough competition, as there were a lot of really good rabbits this year.” He will be selling his Grand Champion Baker rabbit, which was also Best in Barn, Saturday morning during the Junior Livestock Auction.
