The stage was set this morning at the Artesia Public Library for a Mother Goose on the Loose StoryTime event from 10-10:30 a.m.; all that was missing were the children. The event wasn’t attended, and the library is encouraging parents to take note of the offering in future. Mother Goose on the Loose will be held at 10 a.m. each Thursday and features music, stories and low-key playtime for kids ages birth to 2. A different theme will be featured each week; watch the Daily Press Around Town section for details. For more information, call the library at 746-4252.
