Services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Isaiah Thomas Tesillo of Artesia.
Tesillo, 18, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, with family in his presence.
Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate the services. Cremation has taken place.
Isaiah was born Aug. 13, 1999, in Roswell to Sarah and Howard Goff. He grew up in Roswell and Artesia. He has two brothers, Isaac Goff and Adrian Goff, who were his best friends that he loved.
He enjoyed taking his dog, Romy, for a ride in his car and taking her to the park to run around and play. Isaiah also loved his car (Mitsubishi Lancer). He loved to play video games and to be around his family.
Survivors include his mother, Sarah Goff, of the family home; father Howard Goff, of the family home; brothers Isaac Goff and Adrian Goff, both of the family home; grandparents Rachel and Emilio Sr. Tesillo of Artesia; grandmother Peggy Fajardo of Artesia; uncles Eric Tesillo of Lubbock, and Emilio Tesillo Jr. and Matthew Pacheco, both of Artesia; aunts Sandra Pacheco of Artesia and Samantha Galvan of Lubbock; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Beatrice and Avelino Contreras, Shirley and Edward Weber, and Petra Tesillo; uncles William Weber and Eddie Weber; aunt Alicia Carrera; and cousin Avelino Tesillo.
