Pedro Esquibel, 35, of Artesia, scheduled to appear July 18 for preliminary examination on charges of larceny, aggravated fleeing of a law enforcement officer, possession of burglary tools, and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

Benjamin Arenivas, 31, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 22 for pretrial conference on charges of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gilbert Chavez, 38, of Artesia, scheduled to appear July 18 for preliminary examination on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. In a separate action, Chavez was scheduled to appear July 18 for pretrial conference on charges of shoplifting.

Sophia Munoz, 37, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 22 for pretrial conference on charges of unlawful use of a license.

Miguel T. Madrid, 53, of Artesia, found guilty of unlawful use of a license and speeding. Sentenced to four days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $422.

John R. Anson, 58, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 29 for pretrial conference on charges of battery against a household member.

Cory E. Myers, 30, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 22 for pretrial conference on charges of battery against a household member.

Monica Ramirez, 35, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 22 for pretrial conference on charges of assault upon a peace officer, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer, and disorderly conduct. In a separate action, Ramirez was found guilty of aggravated DWI and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. Sentenced to 45 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $644.

Robert Schneider, 30, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 1 for preliminary examination on charges of aggravated battery against a household member and tampering with evidence.

Zena Alyse Burchett, 29, of Socorro, Texas, found guilty of failure to pay fines. Sentenced to 10 days in ECDC.

Charges of aggravated battery and unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon dismissed against Jeremy Torres, 24, of Artesia.

Charges of interference with communications and two counts of battery against a household member dismissed against Don Erik Escareno, 39, of Artesia, as per an incompetency order from district court.

Charges of battery against a household member and criminal damage to property of a household member dismissed against Christopher Almgren, 26, of Artesia.

Charges of battery against a household member dismissed against Monica Munoz Ramirez, 35, of Artesia.
