ARTESIA MAGISTRATE COURT

Judge Daniel Reyes Jr.

Hector Montoya, 28, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.

Maria Munoz, 53, of Artesia, found guilty of unlawful use of a license, no proof of insurance, and no evidence of registration. Sentence to seven days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $431.

Alexander Manuel Garcia, 20, of Roswell, found guilty of reckless driving. Total fines and fees $181.

Michelle DeHoyos, 44, of Artesia, found guilty of a probation violation. Sentenced to 71 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $100.

Jesse Barraza, 30, of Artesia, scheduled to appear July 23 for three sentencing hearings on charges of shoplifting, criminal damage to property, and possession of marijuana.

Isaac Hunt, 39, of Artesia, scheduled to appear July 11 for preliminary examination on charges of battery against a household member, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer, and battery upon a peace officer.

Kristan R. Neff, 31, of Roswell, scheduled to appear July 25 for pretrial conference on charges of battery against a household member.

Andrew Ybarra, 42, of Merced, Calif., waived extradition on charges of being a fugitive from justice from Merced County, Calif., on a warrant issued April 13 for attempted murder, assault with a semi-automatic firearm, maliciously shooting from a vehicle at a person, assault with a firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.
