Above, a pair of local boys keep a watchful eye on their popsicle sticks as they race them through one of the fountain canals in Heritage Walkway Thursday during the Artesia Arts Council and Ocotillo Performing Arts Center’s Family Fun Night event. Below, a young girl works diligently to paint a lion mask at one of the arts and crafts stations. Following the activities, attendees were able to watch the AAC’s first Summer Movie Series screening of “Grease.” Keep an eye on the Around Town section for more events.
