Jay Gatsby, Daisy Buchanan and Jordan Baker converse during the National Players’ production of “The Great Gatsby” Saturday at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center. The performance, as well as the Players’ Saturday afternoon presentation of “Alice in Wonderland,” capped off Artesia Reads month, which consisted of numerous events themed around the two novels.
