Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Woodbine Cemetery for Brenda Evans of Lubbock, Texas.

Evans, 71, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at her home in Lubbock.

Ricky Ellis will officiate the services.

Brenda was born Aug. 11, 1946, in Artesia, the daughter of Floyd and Helen (Burnett) Ison.
On April 28, 1967, she married Lawson Ray Evans in Artesia.

Brenda was a longtime Artesia resident until moving to Lubbock in 2015. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She loved her family and would do anything for anyone.

Survivors include her brother, Mike Ison, of Lubbock and his family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Ray Evans, on Jan. 22, 2012; her parents; and a son, Michael Todd Evans.
