A Fifth Judicial District Court jury has found 23-year-old Daniel Aguilera of Artesia guilty in the 2015 murder of Andres “Andy” Rojo, 27, and the non-fatal shooting of his brother, Luis Rojo, 25.

The jury deliberated for a little over an hour this afternoon before returning guilty verdicts on both counts: second-degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Aguilera’s sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled.
