Nancy Losoya

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Terpening & Son Chapel for Nancy Luevano Losoya of Artesia.

Losoya, 67, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, in Artesia.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday at Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Lino Aguirre, Tito Aguirre Jr., Myka Aguirre, Joshua Wooten, Jacob Wooten, Marcos Gomez, Ismael Gomez, Kristopher Madrid, Anthony Burge, Terry Wayne Burge and Michael Brown Jr., and nephew Jeremy Luevano.

Nancy was born April 17, 1950, in Artesia and was a lifelong resident.

She was a housewife and a Jehovah’s Witness. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, garage sales, her grandchildren, word puzzles, sudoku, and her ministry with her faith.

Survivors include her husband, Martin Losoya, of Artesia; daughters Michelle Losoya, Laura Aguirre, Leticia Gomez, Cristina Losoya and Sarah Losoya, all of Artesia; brothers Johnny Luevano of Roswell, Frankie Benavidez of Hobbs, Sammy Luevano of Midland, Texas, and Juan Martinez and David Martinez, both of Artesia; sisters Christina Martinez of Artesia and Sokie Ruiz of Hobbs; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Dolores Burge; granddaughter Anyssa Losoya; and brothers Tony Luevano and Manuel Luevano.
