Above, Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted by the spirit of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, during a national touring company production of Charles Dickens’ classic, “A Christmas Carol,” Thursday at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center. Below, Bob Cratchit implores Scrooge to allow him a holiday on Christmas Day. The audience was treated not only to the familiar tale of the redemption of Scrooge but to a quality stage show, complete with special effects.
