Twenty Packs of Love volunteers gathered over the lunch hour today at the First Baptist Church Total Life Center to share the Christmas spirit with 166 local children and their 93 families. The children will each receive a Christmas bag packed full of goodies including a blanket, socks, an activity, art supplies, a snack, and a devotional in memory of Kayci Houghtaling. The gifts in the Christmas packs were donated to the organization by Devon Energy, EOG, Halliburton Corporation, Mack Energy, and more than 20 other individuals, and will be distributed this afternoon at the TLC. Each family will also receive a food pack filled with everything they need to prepare a holiday meal, donated by the First Baptist Church congregation.
