Employees of Artesia Halliburton were happy to serve a pre-Thanksgiving meal to area families at the First Baptist Total Life center last Tuesday evening.

This marks the third year employees of Artesia Halliburton have worked to serve families in need referred by Packs of Love, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Artesia Head Start.

Employees began fundraising in the middle of September in order to bring free food to over 300 people this holiday season. During the event, Packs of Love handed out bags of nonperishable food to the families to supplement their Thanksgiving meals.

Halliburton employees expressed their love of this event, stating that they “love it” and that “it’s a great thing to be a part of.”
