ARTESIA MAGISTRATE COURT

Judge Daniel Reyes Jr.

Israel Lopez, 36, of Artesia, found not guilty of battery against a household member and guilty of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. Sentenced to 90 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $123.

Cody Stevenson, 29, of Artesia, found guilty of DWI, failure to maintain traffic lanes, and no tail lamps. Sentenced to one day in ECDC. Total fines and fees $700.

Ebelis Grado, 30, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of concealing identity and forgery.

David G. Rosales, 28, of Artesia, found guilty of DWI (second offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to four days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $1,069.

Charges of aggravated fleeing dismissed against Mary Carmen Aguilar Morales, 31, of Artesia.

Charges of aggravated assault and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer dismissed against Steven Bowman, 79, of Artesia.

Charges of battery against a household member dismissed against Adrian Ramon Huertas, 19, of Artesia.

Cruz Munoz, 24, of Artesia, transferred to district court for competency hearing on charges of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

Dawson L. Cole, 56, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Dec. 13 for pretrial conference on charges of battery against a household member.

Michael Johnston, 28, of Artesia, found guilty of failure to pay fines. Sentenced to seven days in ECDC.
