Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Clifton Funeral Chapel in Clifton, Texas, for Karrie Nell Garver, 59.

Garver was born April 27, 1958, in Kermit, Texas, to Robert and Betty Hartley. Her family moved to Artesia in 1966, where she attended school, graduating from Artesia High School in 1977.

Garver married Jerry Garver that summer and moved to Oklahoma. She later moved to the area south of Fort Worth, Texas.

Survivors include sons Jeremy Garver, Chad Garver and fiancé Beverly, and Cody Garver and wife Carolyn; seven grandchildren, all of Texas; mother Betty Hartley of Artesia; sisters Susie Maples of Roswell, and Karen Kelsey and Cathy Houghtaling, both of Artesia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hartley, and one nephew.
