The Eddy County Commission will hold its quarterly meeting in Artesia Tuesday at the Artesia Public Schools’ new Administration Building.

Following a period for public comment at the start of the meeting and the awarding of a bid for bulk fuel, the board of commissioners will approve the Safety Net Care Pool certification of public funds for Fiscal Year 2017-18.

Also up for consideration are the Franco Subdivision final plat; discussion of the Eddy County Finance Committee; certified deputy hiring incentives; a pay increase for the emergency manager; approval to pay bills for the Otis Volunteer Fire Department Station 1 Project 2015; VFD officer election results; and Otis and Queen VFD command vehicles.

The meeting will conclude with comments, announcements and updates from elected officials and department heads, county managers, and commissioners.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lowell M. Irby Board Room at the APS Administration Building, 301 Bulldog Blvd.
