The Roswell Police Department SWAT team will present “How to Survive an Active Killer” training this month.

City employees will be attending the presentations, but the public is also encouraged to attend to learn information that can help business employees and citizens in general in the event they find themselves in an active-shooter situation in a building.

The presentation will be presented at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, with each presentation expected to last between one and two hours, at the Roswell Convention and Civic Center, 912 N. Main St.

This presentation was organized following the tragic shooting at the Clovis public library Aug. 28.
