Students at Grand Heights Early Childhood Center began their school year Monday, as new kindergarteners were welcomed into the open arms of principal Mitzi McCaleb and the Eager Beaver mascot. Parents were given the opportunity to take pictures of their children’s first day of school with the mascot and several custom photo stations before tearfully sending them off to class.
