Graveside memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Clyde and Eva Feezel.

Clyde was born March 6, 1920, in St. Elmo, Ill., and passed away May 5, 2009, in Lubbock, Texas.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Eva was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Alluwee, Okla., and passed away Oct. 10, 2016, at Landsun Homes in Carlsbad.

The two were married Aug. 30, 1940, and moved to Artesia in January 1947.

Clyde worked at the refinery, which was then NuMex, until his retirement in 1990 from Navajo Refining Co. Eva was a homemaker and was an accomplished seamstress.

Survivors include their children, David of Greenville, Texas, Cathy (James Patterson) of Odessa, Texas, Tommy (Donna) of San Antonio, Texas, and Janet Ream of Artesia; 12 grandsons; and 30 great-grandchildren.

This will be a celebration of their lives and what would have been their 77th wedding anniversary Aug. 30.

Beyond the sunset, O glad reunion, with our dear loved ones who’ve gone before; In that fair homeland we’ll know no parting, beyond the sunset for evermore!
