Terry Chandler

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Faith Baptist Church for Terry Lee Chandler of Carlsbad.

Chandler, 65, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, in Jupiter, Fla.

Pastor Michael Elliott will officiate at the services, with interment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Theodore Briggs, Chris Trew, Mickey Pittman, Gary Taylor, Ray Westall, Baron Chandler, Shane Gray and Kenny Pittman.

Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. Friday at Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Terry was born Sept. 27, 1951, in Artesia, the daughter of Johnny R. and Bobbie D. (Till) Gray.

On Feb. 26, 1968, she married Doug Chandler in Lovington.

Terry was a housewife and member of Faith Baptist Church and the National Hot Rod Association.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Chandler, of Carlsbad; son Brandon Chandler of Carlsbad; brother Johnny Gray and wife Terry of Jupiter, Fla.; aunt Eva Sue Green of Artesia; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
