Crime Stoppers of Eddy County is seeking the public’s assistance in solving the theft of a large amount of diesel fuel.

Sometime between 6 p.m. Friday, March 17, and 6 a.m. Monday, March 20, a suspect or suspects cut a chain securing the yard at 850 Rock Daisy Road in Eddy County and removed 200 gallons of diesel fuel from a tank inside.

The suspect(s) returned between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, again cutting chains around the yard and this time removing an additional 20 gallons of diesel, a red Fill Rite 12-volt DC fuel pump, and first-aid supplies including bandages, ointments and various medications from a Conex box.

The total value of the stolen items is unknown at this time.
