The Artesia Public Library and Artesia Historical Museum and Art Center are teaming up for a series of themed craft workshops for the month of March to tie in with the museum’s “Vintage Wedding Dresses” exhibit, on display through April 1.

All workshops are free to the public for ages 13 and up, and all materials will be provided.

“Something Old”: 6 p.m. Thursday, March 9, in the Art Center, 503 W. Richardson Ave. Make wall hanging signs from old wood tiles and decorate to your heart’s content!

“Something New”: 6 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in the Art Center, 503 W. Richardson Ave. Make dream catchers and wreaths from paper doilies and bling it on!

“Something Borrowed”: 6 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at the library, 205 W. Quay Ave. Turn a t-shirt into a library book bag – now you can carry more!

“Something Blue”: 6 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at the library, 205 W. Quay Ave. Make blue paper crafts using pressed flowers.
