New Mexico Military Institute is working to make education more affordable.
NMMI’s education, valued at $35,000 per year for a first-year student, is being reduced to as low as $5,874 following a vote by NMMI’s Board of Regents. Returning students may pay as little as $3,500 annually.
“New Mexico Military has served the citizens of the state of New Mexico for 125 years; we are committed to the future of the state and educating our future leaders,” said Gen. Jerry Grizzle, NMMI superintendent. “To honor that commitment and to make NMMI more accessible to New Mexico’s youth, the Board of Regents voted to approve a reduction in our tuition for New Mexico residents who are accepted to NMMI.”
Monthly payment plans and scholarships are also available, and college students are eligible for federal financial aid.
“Our commitment is to build on our first 125 years of service to the citizens of the state we call home,” said Grizzle. “We are committed to New Mexico’s future and educating New Mexico’s future leaders.”
