Artesians peruse the selection of books at the Friends of the Library’s book sale Friday afternoon at the Artesia Public Library. The sale, which ran from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and saw book lovers still seeking to purchase items Saturday morning as the group worked to pack up what was left, brought in more than $700, with 99 percent of the proceeds coming via the “bulk” option of $10 per sack of books and $15 per box.
