A number of new businesses celebrated ribbon cuttings with the Artesia Chamber of Commerce and Artesia Trailblazers in the latter half of 2016. Above, A&A Loans cuts a ribbon at their new location, 1114 ½ W. Main St. behind Carson Real Estate. At right, a ribbon is cut outside the bay at Premier Auto Hail Repair, 1301 W. Main St. Below, Godfather’s Washateria, 1315 N. First St., celebrated its ribbon cutting with, from left, Kelcey McCaleb, Jesse Brownfield, co-owner Tate Branch, employees Anastacia Omerovic and Elizabeth Grado, Angelica Lujan, co-owner Rodney Shaw, Brandon Williams, Susie McCaw and Sam Hagelstein. The laundromat is open 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., seven days a week. And at bottom, the Trailblazers and Chamber helped Sherwin Williams, 412 W. Quay Ave., celebrate its 150th anniversary Oct. 14.
