Three-year-old Madison receives a candy cane for participating in one of the many games Tuesday at the Artesia Public Library’s “Holiday Shindig.” Madison said she asked Santa for “all of the toys.” More than 200 people, both young and young at heart, attended the event, which included stories, songs, activities, crafts, cookies, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus himself.
