Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Norma Jean Towler Bristow.

Bristow, 82, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, in Artesia.

Jason Kraft will officiate at the services.

Norma was born May 25, 1934, in Duncan, Okla., the daughter of Thomas Lee Towler and Leosia Hossier.

She was married to Jimmy Dale Bristow on July 25, 1949, in Pecos, Texas. They came to Artesia in November 1955 from Carlsbad.

Norma was a housewife and a member of West Main Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Gwenetta Morgan and husband Carl of Mayhill and Kay Roark and husband John of Artesia; sons Dale Bristow of Artesia and Randy Bristow and wife Shelly of Artesia; sisters Lou Stephens of Oklahoma, Johnnie Knight of Texas, Oletta Mask of Roswell, and Estelle Russell of Roswell; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren
and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dale Bristow, her parents, and four sisters.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made to CASA, Packs of Love, or any other children’s charity of choice.
