Following Tuesday’s presidential election results and speculation about the future of the Affordable Care Act, beWellnm and the Office of the Superintendent of Insurance (OSI) are reassuring the public about the importance of continuing to enroll in quality, affordable healthcare coverage through the current open enrollment period.

“While there has been much discussion about the future of the Affordable Care Act and the impact of the presidential election, there have been no changes to the law at this time,” the entities said in a statement. “beWellnm continues to provide New Mexicans with access to affordable health insurance options during this Open Enrollment period for 2017 coverage. Open Enrollment continues through Jan. 31, 2017.”
