Cheri Marquez has owned In Style Salon since 2001, and she operates on a simple business model: They accept walk-ins only, no appointments, period.

It’s a formula that works and keeps her loyal clients coming back with their families year after year. In fact, many families visit In Style together, with the grandparents, parents and kids all getting their hair cut at the same time.

Cheri’s team of stylists are Tiffany Kelsey, Sandra DeLeon and Sonia Avila; between the four of them, they have nearly 50 years of experience.

They offer a full range of services besides haircuts. In Style has hair products for sale, and they do regular and fashion colors, facial waxing, permanents, high and low-lites, brow and lash tinting, AND they are pros at fixing small children’s “adventures with the scissors” and “eyebrow mishaps!”

It’s nice to know that when emergencies like this come up, there’s a local salon where you can walk in without an appointment and have an experienced stylist do the repairs.

In Style Salon is open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Mondays, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturdays. And if there’s a short wait, no worries — the waiting and reception areas are newly remodeled and relaxing places to hang out and visit.

As Cheri says, “We have the BEST clients — Artesia has been good to us, and we’re really, really honored that they voted for us.”
