Crews are scheduled to begin repair work on the Eagle Draw storm drain at 13th Street and JJ Clarke Drive Monday, Oct. 17, weather permitting. The area of JJ Clarke around the drain has been closed to traffic and 13th Street between Mahone Drive and Yucca Avenue diverted into makeshift lanes since July 15, when a suspicious fire caused a ground collapse in a portion of the drain. Construction is expected to last three weeks. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and to follow traffic control and detour signage.
