Judge Daniel Reyes Jr.

Brandon Ortega, 21, of Artesia, found guilty of battery against a household member. Sentenced to 30 days in ECDC and two years of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $123.
Julie Huerta, 38, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Nov. 9 for pretrial conference on charges of making a false report.
Lionel Clah, 30, of Farmington, bound over to district court on charges of escape from a penitentiary.

Arthur D. Griffith found guilty of failure to comply with conditions of supervised probation. Sentenced to 30 days in the Artesia Detention Center. In a separate ruling, Griffith was found guilty of failure to pay fines. Sentenced to 11 days in the Artesia Detention Center.

Maria D. Jimenez found guilty of shoplifting. Sentenced to five days with the ECDC Alternative Sentencing Unit. Total fines and fees $129.
