The president of the University of New Mexico says he is willing to discuss an on-campus taproom.

The Albuquerque Journal reports 21-year-old students Gus Pedrotty and Sara Collins pitched the idea to President Bob Frank earlier this semester and have started a petition for the cause. They say the operation would use brewers in Albuquerque and help teach students interested in the craft.

Pedrotty says safety would be a priority and there would be a three-drink limit.
