Memorial services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Harvest Fellowship Church for Glenn Harold Anderson of Artesia.
Anderson, 65, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at his home.
Pastor Ronnie Williams will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of West Funeral Home of Carlsbad.
Glenn was born Nov. 25, 1950, in Glenwood, Minn., to Harold and Jeanette (MacIver) Anderson. He was raised in Lowry, Minn., and graduated from Glenwood High School in 1968.
He was employed in the concrete business throughout his life. He lived in Denver, Colo., before moving to Albuquerque and El Paso, Texas, where he owned and operated Concrete Pumping Inc. In 1982, following the sale of his business, he moved to Carlsbad and was employed at Southeast Readi-Mix for many years prior to moving to Artesia and working for Southwest Concrete Construction Inc.
Glenn loved fishing, working crossword puzzles, and making his annual trip to Minnesota to can dill pickles and other vegetables with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Jeanette Anderson, of St. Cloud, Minn.; daughters Christine Baker and husband Stuart, and Caryn Rodriguez and husband Johnny, both of Albuquerque, and their mother, Angela Anderson, of Carlsbad; brothers John Anderson and wife Julie of Goodyear, Ariz., and Dean Anderson and wife Leslie of Paradise, Calif.; sisters Judy Carrigan and Nancy Anderson, both of St. Cloud, Bonnie Rossi of Federal Way, Wash., Barbara Rosten and husband Greg of Audubon, Minn., and Brenda Halvorson and husband John of Dent, Minn.; grandchildren Jadyn Rodriguez and Brian and Saffi Baker, all of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Anderson.
