Services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Glenn M. Jimenez of Artesia.

Jimenez, 66, passed away July 22, 2016, at his home.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Terpening & Son Mortuary. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Bob Bratcher, Vernon Asbill, Tony Huerta, David Porter, Ricky Esquibel, Sug Floore, Willie Pinson and Stan McKee. Honorary pallbearers are all other seniors at the Artesia Country Club.

Glenn was born March 22, 1950, in Marfa, Texas, the son of Juan Jimenez and Carolina Marquez.

On Aug. 30, 1977, he married Elsa Franco in Ft. Stockton, Texas, and the couple came to Artesia in 1979 from Ft. Stockton.

He received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and was a caseworker for the State of New Mexico at the Roswell Correctional Center.

Glenn was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, the Eastern New Mexico Senior Golf Association, and the Artesia Country Club, and enjoyed golfing, watching movies, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include Elsa Jimenez and Mark; his companion, Christina Martinez, of Carlsbad; sons Jon Fellows and wife Sandra of Alpine, Texas, and Juan Jimenez and wife Peggy of Artesia; daughter Gail Jimenez of Artesia; brothers Sam Jimenez of Marfa, Texas, and Oscar Jimenez of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Andrew, Gabby and Aaron Fellows, Bo Williams, and Gage and Karsyn Jimenez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother David Jimenez; and sister Natalia Perez.
