Summer school students at Hermosa Elementary School examine samples of local rocks and minerals at the “hands-on table” and view 3D images of Lechuguilla Cave last week at the Artesia Historical Museum and Art Center’s “Underground of Enchantment” exhibit. The exhibit is on display from 9 a.m. – noon and 1-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays, or by appointment, through Aug. 31.
