James Hill, 42, of Kermit, Texas, found guilty of failure to maintain traffic lanes, no proof of insurance, expired registration, and driver’s license not in possession. Total fines and fees $724.
Shirley Saylor, 69, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 3 for pretrial conference on charges of embezzlement (over $250, but less than $500).
Jacob Sanchez, 19, of Artesia, remanded to district court for competency hearing on charges of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, burglary of a vehicle, and larceny.
Steven B. Troublefield, 27, of Artesia, found guilty of DWI and failure to maintain traffic lanes. Sentenced to 365 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $613.
Joel Ortiz, 38, of Hagerman, found guilty of aggravated DWI and failure to maintain traffic lanes. Sentenced to 90 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $713.
Tom Elliot, 25, of Churchrock, found guilty of criminal trespassing and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Richard P. Coombs, 39, of Artesia, found guilty of probation violation. Sentenced to 42 days in ECDC and 98 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $100.
Charles Davis, 26, of Artesia, found guilty of battery upon a household member and criminal damage to property of a household member. Sentenced to 728 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $226.
D’Shawne Guajardo, 18, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of two counts of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, conspiracy to commit unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, and receiving stolen property.
Ricky Ray Kirkman, 55, of Roswell, found guilty of probation violation. Sentenced to 45 days in ECDC and 630 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $100.
Ramon R. Rodriguez, 56, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of giving or selling alcoholic beverages to minors.
Gunner Shearman, 18, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Aug. 1 for sentencing on charges of disorderly conduct.
