Recipients of the Chase Foundation Scholarship vacuum debris out of flagpole sockets along Main Street last week during the Chase Scholars’ annual community service initiative. The youth aided several local organizations and individuals with upkeep and maintenance tasks. The scholarship requires the students to participate in the initiative in order to give back to the community that has invested in their education.
