Artesia teens take a break from the outside heat to play a dance game on Xbox One in the Artesia Public Library’s teen zone last week as part of Terrible Thursdays, a program designed to beat the boredom that typically comes with a Thursday afternoon in the summer. Each Thursday at 3 p.m., teens in grades 6-12 can play video games, cards or board games and hang with friends at the library. For more information, contact Erin Loveland, teen services librarian, at 746-8515.
