The Roswell Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man suspected of murdering his wife and the couple’s four daughters Saturday in the family’s north Roswell home.
Juan David Villegas-Hernandez, 34, is believed to be driving a red, four-door Ford pickup bearing New Mexico license plate KJS479. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the RPD at 624-6770. Anyone spotting Villegas-Hernandez is urged to call 911 immediately.
RPD investigators are still awaiting official identification of the victims but believe them to be Villegas-Hernandez’s approximately 34-year-old wife and four daughters, approximate ages 14, 11, 7 and 3. The family lived in a home in the 2300 block of Davis Avenue, where the five victims were found at approximately 11:15 p.m. Saturday by other family members who could not reach them by phone.
