The Artesia City Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday at its regularly-scheduled meeting concerning the city traffic code.

Consideration and approval of the 2016 Uniform Traffic Ordinance was postponed May 10 and will be heard during the public hearing portion of this week’s council meeting.

In other business, the council will discuss and adopt the 2016-17 interim budget, as well as consider a resolution for HIPAA hybrid entity designation.

The council will also hear a request from the Changing Lives Coalition for the use of Jaycee Park from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, July 2, for a four-on-four Elite Football Tournament, contingent upon proof of security.
