The Artesia High School cheerleaders lead the way around Guadalupe Park Saturday afternoon during the Relay for Life Survivors and Caregivers Lap, chanting, “Let’s go survivors!” as those who have won or are winning their battles against cancer and their caregivers celebrate life. The annual event, designed to raise funds and awareness for cancer research, carried on into the evening at the park and featured food, fun and entertainment for a number of local teams.
