TO THE EDITOR:

I am a family genealogist looking for a photo of an Artesia resident, Ruby Alexander, who passed away in 1997. She moved to Artesia in 1942.

While Ruby lived in the Artesia community, she was a music and piano teacher, a schoolteacher in Hope, and was a nurse’s aide. Ruby Alexander was a member of Clark Memorial Methodist Church.

If you remember Ruby Alexander and have a photo of her, I would like to be contacted at [email protected]

Thank you,
Cynthia Plott-Duke
