Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Roswell for Jesus “David” Chavez-Nunez of Roswell.
Chavez-Nunez, 31, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Pastor Catarino Munoz will officiate at the services, with interment to follow at South Park Cemetery in Roswell.
David was born Nov. 25, 1984, in Juarez, Mexico, to David Chavez and Eva Nunez.
On April 12, 2005, he married the love of his life, Lucia Chavez.
David was always happy with a great smile and laughter. He also loved cruising around with friends. His priorities were his kids and providing the best for them. He loved eating with his family and making new friends.
The Oakland Raiders was his favorite team. He loved playing Xbox with his brother-in-law, Martin Moran, and loved beating him at it, Go Messi! We will forever love you, David. We will miss you, but God has promised that when he comes again, we will see our loved ones once again.
Survivors include his wife, Lucia Chavez, of the home; daughters Natalia and Jocelyn Chavez; son Josue Chavez; parents David Chavez and Eva Nunez; sisters Elizabeth and Diana Chavez, all of Roswell; and brother Ruben Chavez of Avondale, Ariz.
Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel and Roswell Crematory. Condolences may be expressed online at www.lagronefuneralchapels.com.
