Zia Intermediate School students Amya Salazar and Nataly Leon of Juli Newton’s art class study the Convertible Trashique Dress this morning in the Artesia Historical Museum Art Center. Newton’s classes had the opportunity to visit the “ReDress: Upcycled Style” exhibition as part of her current curriculum on the importance of recycling and reusing.
