The 7024U Youth Outreach Center is recognizing four participants for their recent graduation from its 12-week program.

On Jan. 15, Kaylee Garrison, Gabriel Duran, Chyenne Norwood and Jewel Corona were honored with a graduation ceremony, receiving a certificate of accomplishment and a plaque.

The students participated in curriculum which included self-esteem and art projects, as well as working toward their education goals of continuing to keep passing grades in school. The four are now ready to work with the 7024U Leadership Program, if they so choose, which will begin after Spring Break. The Leadership Program consists of learning how to grow with communication, leadership, research and action.

7024U has gotten off to a great start in 2016, with 13 registered youths attending on a weekly basis. The center offers tutoring, a weekly topic curriculum, and various other activities. The center would like to thank the community for its support of the program.
