1-31-CVE-NailonDonna Nailon, a customer service representative assisting Central Valley Electric Cooperative for more than 16 years with bill collections, has retired from CVE effective Jan. 4.

When asked what has changed over the years, Nailon said, “We used to print and mail out every bill, passed-due notice, and various other items, so we were constantly stuffing envelopes.

“About six years ago, CVE switched to a different computer billing software, and now all the bills and different things are stuffed and mailed out somewhere else, and that has really freed up some of our time.”

Nailon said she will miss the people the most, not only her fellow employees but also the co-op members with whom she regularly worked.

Nailon has moved back to her hometown of Tahoka, Texas, where she says she plans to get involved and serve God through different ministries. She will also continue to do scrapbooking projects and will be able to enjoy family and all their activities.

“I am very thankful to God for providing a great place like CVE for me to work for so many wonderful years,” she said. “I am truly blessed.”
