ARTESIA MAGISTRATE COURT

Judge Daniel Reyes Jr.

Martin R. Segura, 52, of Artesia, found guilty of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. Sentenced to 364 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $223. In a separate ruling, Segura was bound over to district court on charges of aggravated assault.
Angela J. Heady, 40, of Artesia, found guilty of aggravated DWI (first offense), open container, and careless driving. Sentenced to two days in ECDC and 365 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $364.
Francisco Javier Gonzalez, 30, of Artesia, found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia. A charge of concealing identity was dismissed by the prosecutor. Sentenced to 92 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $298.
Timothy J. Salazar, 30, of Hobbs, bound over to district court on charges of breaking and entering, criminal damage to property of a household member, and assault against a household member.
Alonzo Amaya Meza, 29, of Artesia, found guilty of probation violation. Ordered to continue with original conditions of probation. Total fines and fees $100.
Jose L. Nava Jr., 23, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for pretrial conference Feb. 3, 2016, on charges of battery against a household member.
Darrell Cartwright, 43, of Artesia, found guilty of failure to pay fines. Sentenced to 11 days in ECDC or $617 in total fines and fees.
Mark O. Rommell II, 35, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Jan. 13, 2016, for a probation violation hearing.

Ivan D. Ortiz found guilty of contempt of court, failure to comply with conditions of supervised probation. Sentenced to 39 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $129.
Angel Baeza found guilty of two counts of contempt of court, failure to pay fines. Sentenced to five days in the Artesia Detention Center.
Ambrosia I. McClung found guilty of unlawful use of a suspended license. Sentenced to four days in the Artesia Detention Center. Total fines and fees $129.
Edgar Holguin found guilty of operators and chauffeurs must be licensed. Total fines and fees $29.
Christina M. McFarland found guilty of shoplifting. Sentenced to five days in the Artesia Detention Center and 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $129.
