Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Eternal Life Assembly of God Church in Hobbs for Pedro “Pete” Tesillo Bueno Sr. of Hobbs.

Bueno, 65, passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs.

Pastor Steve Rodriguez will officiate at the services, with interment to follow at the Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobbs.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday at Eternal Life Assembly of God.

Bueno was born Nov. 19, 1950, in Artesia to Jose and Genoveva (Tesillo) Bueno. He resided in Hobbs for 39 years after moving there from Artesia.

On Dec. 17, 1969, he married Rosa Hernandez.

He was a Christian and a member of Eternal Life Assembly of God Church. He was a supervisor in the retail business and worked for Forrest Tire for 35 years.

Pete was a good father, grandfather and, most of all, a great husband. More than anything, he was a hard worker who enjoyed his job. He also enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play baseball. His passion was watching the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Bueno, of Hobbs; three sons, Stephen Bueno and wife Sara, Pete Bueno Jr. and Ray Bueno and wife Elizabeth, all of Hobbs; one brother, Tino Bueno, of Artesia; four sisters, Connie Delgado of Hobbs, Virginia Ruiz and Beatrice Madrid, both of Artesia, and Mable Kcoutv of Hamilton, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Genoveva Bueno; and one brother, Joe Bueno.

Arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs.
