A Chevy Impala sits in an empty field near 26th Street and Richey Avenue Wednesday. According to Artesia Police Department Cmdr. Lindell Smith, a male was reportedly seen by witnesses in the driver’s seat after the car ran over a fence in the area. An ambulance was dispatched but did not transport anyone. No citations have been issued at this point.
