One of Artesia’s newest oilfield service businesses is Bolide Services.

The company was established in May and recently celebrated the grand opening of its location at 1510 W. Fairgrounds Road.

Owner Fabian Lopez, a graduate of Artesia High School, is pleased with the direction his business – which currently employs six – is taking thus far.

“We are an oilfield service and parking lot maintenance company,” Lopez says. “We do parking lot resurfacing, crack repairs, striping, and for the oilfield, we do a lot of pressure washing, tank cleanouts.

“We try to be a little bit of a diverse company, as much as we can.”

Lopez says the company has been busy in just its first few months, and he plans to continue working to expand his clientele as the business gains footing.
